A proclaimed “Leadership Nerd,” Anjali has served on the executive board of the Pennsylvania Association of Student Councils as the 2023 state president and has been involved in student council for the past six years. Additionally, she has advocated for youth mental health and wellness at the local, state, and national levels. Her roles in various organizations include serving as the lead for the activation team on Work2BeWell’s National Student Advisory Council, a Morgan’s Message ambassador, a chief science officer, and as social impact manager for #ICANHELP + Digital4Good. Anjali can’t wait to uplift the voices and stories of community changemakers nationwide through the National Student Council.

A resident of Central Falls, she is vice president of her school’s student council and the treasurer of SkillsUSA. Kaylyn is also a dedicated cancer research scholar for Lifespan and an active member of NHS. Her commitment to community service includes volunteering with the Health Equity Zone, a nonprofit organization focused on improving public health. Passionate about the medical field, especially neurosurgery, she brings her enthusiasm and knowledge to her various roles. In addition to her academic and extracurricular activities, Kaylyn works 20 hours a week at Walgreens.

Jacqueline Rogers is a senior at Jefferson City High School in Jefferson City, MO, and vice president of service for the National Student Council. At her school, Jacqueline has served in various leadership roles. She was the sophomore and junior class president and is currently student body president. As an executive member of the student council, she has coordinated photography and assemblies, and she has participated in student council activities at local and state levels for eight years. Jacqueline is also president of Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) and has captained and coordinated efforts for the speech and debate team. She prioritizes mental health and co-leads the education team for Work2BeWell. Her commitment to community service is evident through her volunteer work at the Runge Conservation Nature Center, UM Capital Region Medical Center, and Special Olympics Missouri.

She is passionate about many things, including lacrosse, swimming, and education. Her student government experience began in fourth grade when she served as a representative. Since then, she has been involved in her school’s student government programs and has held numerous leadership positions. Paige aspires to continue her education at the college level and be an author and elementary school teacher. Her goals for her term as vice president of membership include expanding membership and helping current members grow together. She is very excited to be working with the National Student Council and can’t wait to see how much the group will accomplish this year.

Jamyson Posey is a junior at Fairmont Senior High School in Fairmont, West VA, and vice president of communications for the National Student Council. He has served as an officer in his school’s student council since he began high school. He was class president his first two years and will serve as student body vice president this year. Jamyson loves to perform for others whether on the stage or on the cheer mat. He only began cheering for his school last year, but he has been singing, acting, and dancing since third grade. He also enjoys singing in the Madrigals Chambers Chorus, participating in Bible Club, and engaging in Young Life. In June 2023, Jamyson was selected to serve on the National Student Advisory Board for NASSP, where he helped plan the 2023 and 2024 LEAD Conferences in Washington, D.C.

Khadija Sissoko is senior at Ocean Lakes High School in Virginia Beach, VA, and secretary of the National Student Council. She also serves as president of her school’s student council and the Future Business Leaders of America chapter. Khadija founded My Student Mentor, a mental health resource for K–12 students, and the Cultural Appreciate Club, highlighting her commitment to inclusivity and student well-being. She is the Latin Honor Society editor and the editor-in-chief of The Current. A member of NHS, secretary of the Crescent Community Center (CCC) Youth Committee and, and a member of the CCC social media team, Khadija also belongs to the cross-country state championship team. Her achievements have earned her several awards, including the Dynamic Dolphin Award, National Best of SNO Award, Gold President’s Award, and the American Citizenship Award.

She enjoys volunteering, fundraising, and helping her community while working with her peers. Jocelyn volunteered 40+ hours with NJHS and student council last year and is student council president and vice president at Margaret Buerkle this year. She was awarded a scholarship to attend a summer leadership camp called Fulton to continue her growth as a leader. Every summer Jocelyn volunteers with an organization that raises money for and empowers women with cancer.

Outside of school, Evan is a mentor for elementary students for both the Memphis Light, Gas and Water Weekend STEM Academy and Whitestone Missionary Baptist Church. His goal as a member of the National Student Council is to be a voice for secondary scholars and initiate programs to help increase the national literacy rate among students.
