Create an Account With the National Student Council

Student members of NatStuCo are encouraged to create their own student account. Upon doing so, they will be able to have their NatStuCo affiliation verified by their adviser, and receive the most up-to-date information about our programs and activities delivered straight to their inbox.

What Do I Need to Do?

Students

You will be required to provide the following information to create a new account*:

  1. Your name
  2. Your email address
  3. Your school’s name, state, and country
    • TIP: If the school name does not appear in your first search attempt, consider alternate spellings, such as JFK for John F. Kennedy. When searching for your school, you can use your chapter’s affiliation number to confirm you have the correct school. Your adviser can give you this number.
    • You must select “SCHOOL” as the address type; do not select “Home”.
  4. School role (select “NatStuCo Student”)
  5. A phone number (which can be your own or your school’s number)

You must also accept the Terms and Conditions and create a password (six or more characters).

Once you create an account, your adviser will need to log in and verify that you are an active student in your council.

Until then, your account will be inactive, and you will not have access to some member functions.

*Do you already have an account through your National Honor Society or National Junior Honor Society membership? Great! Just email us at the address below so that we can add your NatStuCo membership to your account.

FAQ

Is creating an account a requirement?

No, creating an account is not a membership requirement for you or students, but rather a way for us to share updates about our student programs and services directly to their inboxes, similar to what advisers also receive.

Does NASSP share student information?

NASSP does not share student information with third parties.

Can a parent or guardian create an account?

While it is possible for a parent or guardian to create an account on behalf of a student, we encourage students to create accounts for themselves to receive program updates directly. NASSP does not offer parent or guardian accounts.

How do advisers verify student accounts?

To verify a student account: log in and click “My Account” at the top of the page. Click on the tab in the middle of the page with your school name on it, and then the “Students” tab to access your roster. Check the verification box next to the student’s name and then, “Verify Selected” to save your work. Here’s a quick video explaining the process.
