What will I get when our school becomes affiliated with NatStuCo?

With a new NatStuCo membership, you will receive a welcome package from the national office that contains a certificate of affiliation. You will also have access to the following adviser resources:

  • Adviser Resource Center with templates for building a constitution, advice on parliamentary procedure, step-by-step project planning guidelines, sample officer installation pledges, and much more
  • Adviser Online Community, where your adviser can connect with new and veteran advisers from across the country and beyond
  • National Service Project Database, with over 8,500+ project ideas
  • National Customer Care Center and Programs and Services Team, available 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (ET) at 703-860-0200 and [email protected]
  • Access to the NatStuCo Store

We have a new student council. How do we get started?

Once you are affiliated with NatStuCo, your new adviser will have access to several resources that will help kick-start a new council or rejuvenate an existing one. In the Adviser Resource Center, you will find a section for “New Advisers” that includes a sample constitution, an adviser skills checklist, a survival guide, and more. Your adviser will also have access to the Adviser Online Community, where they can connect with new and veteran advisers from across the country.

What are the benefits of NatStuCo for students?

As a student member of a NatStuCo-affiliated school, they will have access to NatStuCo resources via their adviser. Advisers can pass along resources including project ideas from the National Student Project Database, fundraising guidelines and templates, and tips and tools for council operations. Students also have direct access to the Career Exploration video series to hear from former student leaders about their career journeys.
